Breakfast Today

Yum Yummy.
I love these scones!
When I moved to St. Louis 8 yrs ago (can that even be right!?!)
I found out that out WEST we have our own version of what a scone is.
The rest of the world calls it fried dough, or elephant ears, or anything but a scone.
The above picture is of an actual scone.
I do love the "western" scone, but these little guys are also delish.
Scone Recipe can be found here
and
Glaze can be found here.
This is the maple glaze from PW cinnamon roll recipe .
Which if you have a couple hrs - MAKE THE ROLLS - they are to.die.for.
Really they are.
You can be creative with the scones.
Sometimes I use craisins, or pecans, or nothing at all. . . .
Hope you enjoy!!
P.S. I do realize this doesn't count as getting caught up. We had fun visitors last week and this week I've been uploading, downloading, transferring, and organizing all our pictures. Takes FOREVER. . .but I will catch up!

YUMMMM!!! I was thinking when you come next we need to have a girl's weekend and have a little retreat! We can come stay at my house and kick Chip out. We need some late night laughs all of us! You and sara need to overlap so we can all get together!
