Pete has almost completed his 7 week rotation of nights - FOREVER!
It feels so great to be able to say that he will never again have to work a "night" rotation. I just can't believe we are half way through the last year of residency. The past four years have been a bit rough - I'm not going to lie - but it actually has gone fast. I'm starting to feel anxious about our future, but excited. And I'm starting to get that ache in my heart at the thought of leaving dear, dear friends. Such are the chapters of our lives I guess.
Anyway the last few weeks have been interesting. Try keeping an active, LOUD, crazy little 2yr old boy quiet during the day, while his daddy sleeps in the next room. Thank the heavens above Pete is the deepest sleeper I know. This is a strange phenomenon with the Jeppson family - they can sleep through anything. How I wish I could do that. I signed Samuel up for a couple classes, then there is library day, play group with the ward, and the weather has been nice, so I've actually been able to stay out of the house for a good part of the day. Here are a few photos of what we've been up to these days. . .
Playing in our teeny tiny backyard:
Samuel loves wearing his little safety glasses. But he thinks they're swimming goggles! He puts them on and says "lets go swimmin'" then he pretends like he's diving on the floor.
Funny little guy.
