My Little Chef

A friend suggested (kindly of course) I stop being such a control freak and let Samuel climb up and help me cook sometimes. I took her advice and we made cookies yesterday. It actually was pretty successful, of course he ate the cookie dough the entire time, but he had such a GREAT time. It was a lot of fun - and doesn't he look so proud of himself!
So, in my defense, I do let him help me clean up all the time. Just a few days ago he helped me clean the beaters.

who could ask for a better helper?

Wyatt loves to help bake, too. He has to try every ingredient...salt, flour (which he loves!), vanilla... Anything that goes in, he has to try first. Love it!

Why is it always so hard for us to let kids "help"? Today I let Megan put chopped potatoes in the skillet and it about killed me. Why??? I'm a control freak, too:)

Hey. Congrats on having one of the cutest little boys ever! Gee. Anyway sorry I don't check my blog very often but I just wanted to assure you that you read my post right. We have been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half now. We've tried a few things like the metformin and clomid together, ha ha. Oh well, trust in the Lord hu?
