Samuel's awesome hair after waking up from a nap and yes he's still in his pajamas at 1pm. Which leads me to a confession. . .we stay in our pjs a lot around here. There are even somedays when I go to bed wearing the same thing I woke up in - there I said it! One day when Samuel woke up from his nap, I was dressed and ready to go out for the day and Samuel started saying "bye bye, bye bye?" I had to laugh! Isn't it so sad my 20 month old knows that we must be going somewhere if his mom is dressed, hair and makeup done?! Perhaps one day this will change. . .famous last words.

I will NEVER be a "backpack" kind of mom
Oh really . . . cause, that looks like a backpack. never say never
CHANGE: one of the few things I agree on with our new President. This girl is in need of serious change. . .so I'm starting with my hair. When I get back from Utah, in a few weeks, I'm going to have a new hair style. hopefully for the better!

So we're still in our pajamas too. :) Snow days just call for it...snow days allow for lots of exceptions at our house. Hope your trip goes well!-
Any mother that tells you she has not stayed in her PJ's all day and slept in them the next night is So lying!!! Way to admit what every other mother in the world has done.. Also, the backpack makes me laugh. I also remember SO many things I would "never do" I have probably done them all!
I totally hear you on the pjs. On my week on I get home from work in the morning and get into my pjs but get the kids dressed. On my week off I have no excuse, but I stay in my pjs then as well. What is the point if you aren't going any where? Kade went through a phase around Christmas where he didn't want to get dressed. I couldn't really argue and let him stay in the same pjs for days at a time. I'm glad I'm normal!
Samuel is a cutie. Have fun in Utah, and make sure to post pictures of your new hair!

By the way... ask Sarah if she knows any Gattens. That's my maiden name, and I'm pretty sure my sister-in-law knows her.
I am right with you on the jammies. My kids have all learned if mom is getting ready, we must be going somewhere special. I am looking forward to seeing you soon--will I get to see the new hair too?
Yes, im glad im not the only one either!! And its usaually noon if i do get showered or dressed!! Cant wait to see ya!
oh lori! WHY! THE BACKPACK! Have I taught you nothing! well don't toss the highly coveted kate spade diaper bag, save it for me!
I'm glad we aren't the only ones who stay in our pjs all day and sometimes sleep in the same ones the next night...without changing. The life of stay-at-home mom! Have fun in Utah, by the way!!!!
I hear ya on the never say never! I think I have just about done all of my NEVERS by now!
Can't wait to see you, soon!
love this post! samuel is getting SO BIG! wow! i love your confession...maybe that happens around here a lot, too..oops!:) that's how winter is! hope utah is a blast!
Still in my PJs too... I know one day Parker will say, "Mom please get dressed" but until then, I love PJ days. Can't wait to get together. It has been too long.
I can't believe how cute that little sam is. I admit to the pj's all day too, however i didn't do it alot because Brian would give me a hard time. Sometimes I'd get dressed just before he got home so he didn't know. anyway, can't wait to see the new haircut and I bet its cute. You are incapable of not looking cute. Hope Utah was great post some pics if you have them. Love ya!
Andrea:)
I didn't know that you had a blog until you mentioned it today in Relief Society during your lesson. It is cute, I like the name you chose for it. I hope you are doing well!
