4th of July (a favorite)
The 4th of July has always been a favorite holiday of mine. I love getting together with family and friends, enjoying the great weather, oh and lets not forget the FIREWORKS! This year we got together with some friends at a park. The weather was perfect and the food was delicious. Then later that night we walked a few blocks from our house to watch the fireworks. I must admit I was a bit disappointed in them, maybe the city had to make cuts on the "fireworks budget" this year!? After watching "Stadium of Fire" fireworks all growing up and then watching the display in St. Louis (under the arch!) I suppose I'm a bit spoiled :) Despite the mediocre fireworks it was still a great 4th! Hope you all had a nice day too.

Samuel couldn't care less about the fireworks. He was going from group to group saying hi and he especially loved the dogs!

Remember we used to go up to the lot every 4th. That was so much fun. My parents, Ginger and her family and Brenda with her family all went up last night. We were out of town but that sounded fun. We should all meet up there next time you guys come in town.

Welcome to the world of blogging, you are going to love it.
Sorry you weren't happy with the fire works, I thought they were great. I guess I just haven't seen anything that much better, or at least I have forgotten if I have.
I love the pictures of Samuel with the hose, really cute.
What a friendly little guy. He's too cute! Glad you got to watch fireworks, we didn't get to this year but we still had fun. LOVE YA!
Lori! I can't believe how big Samuel is! I guess that's what kids do huh? The last time I saw him, he was only a few weeks old and had just had his first blow out, Pete was so proud...looks like not much has changed in the last year!
You guys are such a cute family!
I hope we get to hang out this week, that would be really fun. Eli and Samuel can play in hose together!
Welcome to blogging! I'm surprised Samuel wasn't terrified by the loud booms. Lots of the kids at the Shaker fireworks were crying through the whole thing, with their hands over their ears.
